jo, hey all.
Well for my current project I made to textures which should be layered over each other.
So, the first one is just a very simple stucci texture, the other is a texture which I set up via the UV-Editor, but I can´t figure it out how to archieve, that the uv-editor texture is layered over the stucci texture.
I hope I don´t post an issue which has already been discussed in here, but I couldn´t find anything helpful
Thx for any help

Shall both textures affect the color?
Simply use it like any normal image texture, only set “Map Input” to UV.

To blend two textures you have a zillion of possibilities, e.g.

or

But if I have a texture set up by the uv-image editor I do not have any map input panel
It’s about rendering, isn’t it?
If you want to render an UV texture, you have two possibilities:
Either use the TexFace Button. This is the quick but unflexible way.
Use a regular image texture but with map input UV.
