Multires distorts texture


I’m modeling a couch with a fabric texture. A simple box with a bevel on it. Unwrapped the model and marked seams.

Now I wanted to add details, like wrinkles. I sculpted the details, but now my texture distorts at some places.

How do I go about fixing this?


Problem solved, I had to add extra edge loops so the faces on the sides wouldn’t stretch out to the center!
