Multitexture Transparancy Question

Ok - I’m confused (which is pretty easy to do now-a-days). I think I’m just missing a setting somewhere, but 2.5 is still confusing to me :-(.

The attached file has a palm branch that I imported from a 2.49b file with a transparent background. I’m trying to get the pine branch to have the same transparent background. I’ve checked the settings and the only thing I notice different is the mapping layer - but I have no idea how to set that up. I’m using v2.55. Any insights would be appreciated. Thanks!!

Last time I checked they hadn’t added yet the copy button, so doing that for every face is kind of annoying, still like that? Haven’t used version 2.56 yet…

Saga - TY TY TY … i can’t believe i missed that …

And Cloud - I TOTALLY agree - annoying !!! Don’t know about 2.56 … haven’t installed yet.

Thanks!

I dunno if multitex supports it, but if it does I recommend using clip alpha instead of regular alpha for things like leaves (IE things with a hard edge). You’ll get much better results with a much lighter performance hit.

I did ask this a few months ago and apparently there’s an addon that comes with Blender now that adds this back. (I think it’s called ‘copy menu’ or something)
