Is it possible to make objects transparent in the game engine using multitexture instead of glsl?
Uv map the mesh onto the texture.
The texture needs to have alpha values in it.
In edit mode, select the entire mesh, go to “object data” (the triangle shape on the properties window), scroll down to texture face, and for each face of the mesh, click on the selection which says “opaque”, and change it to alpha.
Now where the image has alpha values, it will be transparent.
