Music: "These Connections, Ever So Briefly and Beautifully" (instrumental)

“These Connections, Ever So Briefly and Beautifully”

In their seemingly separate searches for harmony, two minds find themselves connecting at apparently random points, so briefly yet beautifully when they do.

They grow discordant when further apart, although wherever they go, whether they know it or not, they remain connected, for the cosmos has its own cadence, its own subtle symphony of vibrations drawing us toward unanticipated harmonies that are anything but accidental.

Played and recorded this evening on my Triton keyboard in two parts: first recording the piano part then later the flute part.

This was inspired more from Debussy’s corner of the musical universe, however slightly displaced by a decidedly atonal approach required by the story I wrote to accompany this piece.

I hope you enjoy it. Thank you for listening,
