There is a music video we made in 2004 using a very old version of blender and gimp. The music video was made using thousands of photo cut outs as planes in 3D space in blender, then lit and animated. Here is the link to you-tube:

Only crit I have is that the starry particle effects towards the end look sort of ‘cheap’.

He has 2 great albums you can get and you can listen to his tracks on the website.
We did the music video Arms of Marianne in 2004 and won 3 awards here in Malaysia as well as a 3rd runner up in the Just Plain Folks festival.
His new music video which we just completed a few months ago was done on a combination of Blender and Aftereffects. Its called “Lost in America”
