I have already posted this but got no replys so il try again. I am making an animation of a robot dancing and I really need to add the music to get an idea of the timing. Is there a way of doing this or do i have to export it and then add the music with a seperate program.

Just open up the VSE and add the sound in as RAM. Then remember to turn on the “speaker” icon in the timeline. When you hit play, the music will play.

Performance will be directly linked to the compexity of your scene (ie the rig), the amount of avilable memory (your system) and the length of the wave file you load into Blender.

It does seem to work well, however, I have been using it for timing out voice overs recently.
