my blender "human-skin" procedural test with tatto :D

oi everyone…i have done this a while ago with blender before the nodes, and i stumbled upon this today, and laughed how unfinished it is…
i wanted to create a realistic human skin closeup with all kind of details, how it turned out is some sort of a dog or “shaved animal” -like skin :slight_smile:
but it has some reality feel, or im wrong? :smiley:

is good, but too specular. make it very flat; with skin you add a specular layer where it is oily.

It looks pretty realistic, but it also looks blistered/burned or necrotic. Well done, just not very healthy looking. :stuck_out_tongue:

Too bumpy for skin. At all visible-to-naked-eye distances.
