My Blood Cells

(BgDM) #1

Hi all. I told ztonzy that I was going to do that blood cell tute, that he did his great image with, but that I would actually do it in Lightwave.

So here is my result in Lightwave:

This is my first ever render in LW that I can share to the outside world, (/me is as happy as a little girl :o ).

Comments are appreciated.

hehe

cool…would be really cool if we all had done the same tutorial
in different 3D tools…me in Blender , BgDM in LightWave and Brian in Bryce…other suggestions ?

yeah, someone should do it in another freeware-tool

Actually I didn’t. It’s just is very faint. I didn’t like it all blurred in the background. I think seeing all of it makes it look better, in this image anyway.

I can tell you though, that getting the white edges in LW is a hell of a lot easier than in Blender. I assume you used a blend texture to do that?

On to more LW stuff, but a lot more Blender stuff.

well, after you did find the trick once, it’s not all that hard to redo after…
IMHO, of course.
