Actually I am new to Blender and 3d modeling. First time I tried to use Blender last year.
That is my desk. Rendered with blender internal renderer. Hope you like my first interior scene.

Very good for being new to blender/3D. Nice modeling and material work. The reflections on the case and the desk material are nicely done.
Here is another render where I played with node editor a little of course my knowledge in nodes is minimal, but I like result.

This looks great. I like how you made it dark with just that one light. And is that KDE I see? 
Yes it is Kubuntu 10.04 with KDE. I like open and free software 
And KDE 4 looks great.
