It was rendered in yafray and took a week on two 3.2Ghz P4s. Note the nice caustics. I used xvid with a high setting but the video quality just isnt quite right.
Hey, not bad! Maybe make the water pour out of something, I like this animation, but it is more of “art” than most fluid sims, so I think the standard “ball of water coming from nowhere” needs to be changed. Apart from that, about half way through the video (when time starts up again) the camera jumps a little, which is distracting. Also, I like the blurring affect, but maybe a little less.
And finally, during the second half, the camera movements are a lot less fluid (no pun intended)
hmmm, i cant open it
maybe you should try rendering in FFMPEG 4 format, its a lot smaller file size and works with most all computers
oh ya, u wouldnt actually have to render it again, just use the video sequence editor and be sure to select Do Sequence in the render settings
still a .avi, but i got it to work
looks really good!
great work on the ‘matrix camera movement’ and the DOF
sweet caustics too, although it looks like you had that at a rather low resolution on the fluid sim, but oh well
good work
