My first Character, Captain Blender

I really have very limited experience with Blender, so I am sure that this could be better. It is surely not on the same level as many others here, but I do what I can with what I have. Hope you like it and thanks for all the support.

I seem to be stuck on the eyelashes, that section of the book just doesn’t seem to flow well for me.

Thanks all,

Joshua

what do you think?

Looks quite fine!
But why are all the pictures on the side?

Perhaps you could set the mesh smooth, it would remove the vulgarness of the polygons.

You’re doing great. The Captain Blender project will leave you very advanced if you stick with it and work through the entire thing. I am still learning things from that book although I was a bit beyond wanting to go through the step by step process. Just the rigging alone is worth the effort.

Hi jrtroberts,

The model looks quite good, he has those kind of cartoony proportions about him.

I am also fairly new to blender and I am modelling my first character and was wondering which book you used?
