My First Ever Blender Render

About two weeks ago, I decided to make the switch from a very older version of Max, to the world of Blender.
I cannot be more happy that I did, the app is SO much more powerful and intuitive in a way which has really helped my work.
This is my first render which I basically used as a way of learning.
While I am calling this one finished, I would still love some feedback.

I have a few other views available on a behance link if you are interested in having a look.

Im working on an old pc with a 640gt, render was done at 1500 samples in cycles at a time of about 5 hours.

Trying to nitpick, really trying… overall good. The only thing i can think of is the bevel on the Watcom tablet. around the wheel and the two buttons. fully rendered, it feels too beveled…

That is all i could find.

Side note if the rendered screen had blender open (or other software related to graphics like photoshop/kira/whatnot) would give it a bit more “system being used”

And welcome aboard the Blender bandwagon

The bevel around the wheel is actually playing a trick there, the bevel itself if sharp, but the outside of the wheel is convex on my inuous 4, which is giving the impression of that deep bevel, agree with you around the buttons though. The wacom was the second thing I modelled and the mesh shows it, I found it quite tough to get a circular hole for the wheel and the two rectangular holes for the buttons.

My models got better with each piece I added. I really was learning as I went.

The original render, had one of my own websites open (logo design) but decided that was a bit concetited and went generic instead (thought having blender open may be a bit cliche?).

Thanks for the feedback.
