C&C welcome but be gentle with this noob.

hey man half the point of the compatitions is to give the new guys a reason to participate and feel like part of the community, and also giving them the ability to make something they can be proud of. if you work hard at this even if its not as good as everyone elses at least you can be proud to some degree that what you did was better than anything else  i know i was with my first compatition it looks good

ok the picture, first is a good idea to use curvs for the wheel but itrs a better idea to use the wheel from the icemans tutorials page search it on the knowlage base (under support on this site) its a great tute, also do the one on jet engines they will both help with this im sure youll get alot of support from the people here

@ Bl@stzone :
First of all thanx for your comments.
I did both of the tutorials you mentioned but the picture doesn’t do them justice.

  • The jet engine has too many fins i guess
  • I forgot to mention that the wheel was just for size comparison and i’m still working on that.

perhaps a picture to explain :

It’s a start but it seems too subsurfed and lacks detail which gives it too much of an ‘organic’ feeling IMO. add more mechachnical stuff to it or recognizeable features…

Coming along well. If you keep your F1 subsurfed so much you probably should add chrome to hid that look of being too subsurfed.

Also, what is the function of the wheel in the back and will anything hold it in place?
