Hello. I’m very new to Blender, just downloaded the program a little more than a week ago but I have been learning a lot since. Here is my first “project” that I think I can be comfortable with. It is based on a few tutorials that I’ve found here and elsewhere.
The humanoid is not complete yet, I just have the head, upper torso and half of the arms as of now. But I am optimistic that I will have a “complete person” in a few days time.
I still don’t know how to make hair, thus the baldness. Hehehe.
well, yes it should…
but nice! r u new to 3d programs in general? or just blender? that’s a good start.
some critiques:
@ the nostril part of the nose goes out to far/ it looks stretched or pulled down into the upper lip/cheek crease.
@ the chest is too round at the top
@ the temple of the head and the eyes aren’t quite right…look from top view and round it out/make it follow the curve of the head
@ real eyes are halfway down the head…u need more head on top
Hi, thanks for replying.
What’s a WIP?
Yes, I am new to Blender and 3D in general. The last time I used any 3D software was back in the 90’s and didn’t learn much-- I think it was 3D Studio.
I appreciate the critique. I’ll be spending more time learning how to model stuff, and modelling in the right proportions.
