It is my first ship model in Blender. I know it coarse looking, but it it is my first.
I learned a lot, I have to learn even more.
Good job. Keep it up until you will be professional Blender Artist.
Thank for for “consoling words”. I do not know if I still have enough time - I’m 76!.
Regards
Great job, it is looking good. Keep them coming

This is an amazing, detailed, and I know, correct model of this ship.
As I’ve said many times before, “CG” technology has the unique ability to bring something from the past “back to life,” in all its glory. As though you were looking at the real thing on its first day. Nothing else can do that. All it requires is time and dedication – “a labor of love.”
It’s also a way of remembering the engineering(!) that went into the creation of the original things. Here it is again, and you can look at it. Nothing else can do that.
“Keep modeling!” ![]()
Adam, this is a really, really great start! Next stage is sort out some of the smoothing, set yourself a generic(ish) lighting studio, and then take some time to learn a few of the main shaders… with barely any effort you’ll be working details, dents and rust into the model in no time. It’ll only keep on getting better ![]()
This looks really nice, especially for a first model. Keep it up and I definitely think you will improve.
Like @MrUnreal said, you have an excellent base with this model to work on and learn new skills.
And I was thinking I am too old for this things… (46 ;))
I featured you on BlenderNation, have a great weekend!
