Hello! This is my first ever project in blender and i would like some general critique and discussion! It’s a remade, post-apocalyptic replica of my cellar bathroom. Naturally i have a reference picture.
Don’t be afraid to give harsh critique.
Hi!
I really like the lighting coming from the window. Gives a nice atmosphere. Is there any other light source there? It looks too bright for just the window light.
Some of the dimensions of the room and appliances seem off. I would suggest looking them up online and changing your models, like check the standard width of a washing machine. The ones that most stand out are the washing machine width, the height of the shower and he height of the room itself. I understand it is a cellar, but should it the ceiling be as low? If you’re having problems with that, remember you can change the units used by Blender to metric or imperial at Properties/Scene/Units.
Thank you very much for sharing you perspective! I do have an updated image with thinner washing machine, along with some other essential things (like a real window and water tap) (however that image had lots of fireflies).
The shower is supposed to be about that height, the bathroom is actually a replica of my own.
On the wall on the left there is a similar window, outside the picture, with a spotlight lamp.
