This is my first freehand image that I’ve actually “finished”…as in…modeled, textured/colored…rendered LOL. I’ve been toying with Blender off and on for about 10 years. Finally have decided to take it seriously. I used blenderguru tutorial for the flame. Actually have an animated version rendering right now with the animated flame…AND I figured out how to add real flicker in cycles using F-curve noise. Bump map I made in paint.net with a pic I took of a stucco wall at work. Flame might be a tad big…but I can live with it.
It ain’t perfect…and it’s pretty basic…but it’s finished…and that’s a plus in my book LOL.
