Today I just kind of felt like making a random spaceship corridor. =P This isn’t a very big project at all as you can probably tell, I started and finished it today. I know that the textures, lighting, and noise are awful because I rushed it, but I’m still open to criticism because I don’t know much about that stuff anyway. I mostly just focused on the modeling with this one. Below is the finished cycles render and a blender internal render with no textures.
Very nice modelling! To get rid of the noise I would turn up the sampling in the render tab (1000 will probably do it but increase render time a lot). Maybe add a bit of post-processing to make it looker fancier. Sorry if you already know this stuff, I have no idea how nooby you are. Also the borders between the upper lights look 2D or maybe just really thin- I don’t know, they don’t seem to fit. This has potential!
use portal lights to greatly reduce interior renders watch this:
i recommend putting portal lights in each of those floor lights
woops ment to say greatly reduce render noise
Thanks for the tips. I am really a noob with making the final renders look nice because I’ve always just done long animations that I’m not willing to spend a year rendering, but I didn’t put much effort into this one anyway.
well either way you did a very good job on the modeling
