I like the lushness of the background image. However the stark contrast between the dark foreground and bright background don’t work for me in this shot. I have seen this effect used in other styles, but I think it detracts from the beauty of the background scene. I would either light the forground more or remove it entirely… Cheers.

The scene looks very nice. The rocks do not like much as they were. They are very uniform, ie the projections should be different hue as they are not as exposed to the elements. The composition and I love the feeling of great peace.

Frankly I struggled with that one. I lighted the foreground a little more and it took away from the background. The composition I had in mind was looking through a window to the other side. But point well taken. I think I will give it whirl without the rocks and see what happens.

Thanks

Thanks. I ran out of time to re-texture the rocks. I do plan to change the composition a bit. I will try your suggestion.

Love the sun.

I like this scene maybe the rocks and the tree trunk are too dark but I like the base idea of the scene. I would move the camera down a little that I can see more from the forest which is cool. I like the trunks but the texures of the right side rocks are not perfect and I miss the waves around the boat. Anyway I like it.

Thanks.

Thanks.

The water looks very blocky, nice image though.

I like how it looks. It’s a bit too dark for me, but oh well. It’s nice.

Thanks. It has a slight wave/wood displacement. Maybe the camera angle makes it look blocky.

Thanks. I was going for a cloudy/rainy sky look.

Lovely work. I feel like I’m a raccoon sitting in a hollow tree stump waiting for the sun to settle.

:).

Thanks.

I have created a time lapse to show the creation/evolution of the render. I was interested to see how the image evolved over time. So I saved every version of render and strung it together into a 44 second video. Enjoy!!!
