Not having seen the movie (Interstellar) I still was intrigued by the robot TARS,
So in Blender I did a quick render (Cycles).

TARS: me (lots of scaled and beveled cubes, I thought of of using just one surface with textures and bump maps, but decided not to …)

i would remake a scene from interstellar. as example the ocean planet scene with infinite ocean and without the beach in the background and the Waves a bit lower.
the TARS Model looks very Good. if you can you could make some foam around Tars Leggs, would be a bit more realistic.
I think TARS can use some more texture?
And i hope you will manage to create foam in Blender. If you do, please, post it here, cause I failed miserably
