My First YouTube

I made this in the Blender Internal renderer, then added the music with Windows Movie maker and the title in YouTube. To get the background image so that I could pan across it, I built a large cylinder centered on the camera (but not tracking to it and pasted the image as a texture on the inside of it. If there’s an easier way, I’d love to hear it.

You could animate the texture location coordinates by using keyframes.

OK – didn’t know that; I’m still having trouble predicting what textures will do. I think that would be a little hard to coordinate with the camera motion, though. I was thinking more in terms of how to place a background that didn’t involve the mapping onto the inside of a cylinder.
