Working on fun characters for fun animation.
So let me have it! I Want some criticism ;).
One on right is textured with chameleon skin just for test.
Can`t get it right yet.
thnx for replays.

They are certenly somewhat cute. How funny they are would depend on your story and animation.
I can imagine a potentially funny premise could be to let them try to pick something up
thnx. Will have to finish them first, do it properly. I was first excited about them now im not so sure so i’m glad you think they somewhat cute. I hope when i’m done with them they will be funny too. I wasn’t doing 3d blender for while i had no time. So im starting again and also i don’t have workstation just a old laptop. But it’s ok for learning and also i want to interest my daughter in 3d.
About the creatures need to finish mouth teeth tongue maybe little tail. make them jump around making mess farting and so on. Im not sure i want to go deep in story it just for learning and get back to 3d. I do work on other stories but unfortunately im not ready yet.
just love doing it
The one thing I wanted to put forward was that those little guys have potential to be funny.
It’s a totally different story about who is watching them.
I see you are a new user so I don’t know how much insight you have to the blender community. But did you see, what Hjalti did with his Daily dweebs?
He managed to give those, let me call it simple, forms a very pleasing and entertaining plot.
For getting your daughter up in 3D, I am confident that her Dad’s doing fine
Hjalti daily dweebs nice work.
Im also brushing up my communication skills on forums (long time no social networking) so I just was trying to be funny and completely miss that note about picking up something. That is funny. Or maybe ride a bike or drive a car, yeah possibilities are endless without hands. Also why I registered here is to meet an artist and make friends and hopefully get some nice interesting story on screens. But mainly to get help with choosing right shaders/render method, at the moment Im struggling to get results.
Sounds a little defensive…
No reason to apologize. Maybe I have come across a little harsh.
That’s the big challenge in DCC beeing creative AND technically up to date.
BUT! You came to the right place. Ask your questions about specific techniques in the support forums and you’ll meet plenty of guys who are willing to help you out, with their knowledge.
thnx and i will
One more cant find it ??DCC??
It’s short for Digital Content Creation.
