This is my small tribute to Robin Williams. He was an American actor and comedian, notable for many works, but my favorite character he played was Genie (Voice actor) in the Aladdin animated movie.

For all intents and purposes, Robin wrote that movie – “ad lib!” He was that good. They filmed him in the studio while he was recording, and visibly took many visual inspirations from his “performance.”
Finally, Disney was forced to officially admit it, and grant him writer’s credit. (And royalties.) There really was, above all, one reason why that film was so successful. (Wisely, the live-action sequel did not try to imitate it. Instead, they hired another comic genius, and gave him space.)
Many decades earlier, a screenwriter for Mork and Mindy had submitted a thick blank book with one page filled out: “Robin Williams does his thing.”
R. I. P. Robin. I hope that the angels today are “ROTFLing” with you.
