My smoky building isn't co-operating! Camera mapping gone wrong.

Hey!
I’m trying to camera map a city from a photo using the techniques found in this tutorial: http://www.peerlessproductions.com/tuts.html

I’ve finished mapping a building which has a massive chunk in the side. I want billowing smoke to come out of the hole. But every time I render it the particles always seem to be behind the building. I exaggerated it’s position to demonstrate:

See how far in front the particles are?

Now look at the render:

Anyone know why this is?
