Please see my screenshot. Nothing in the preview window. (Trying to convert the png to a video file). I may not be including the right info on the right panel. And to provide a little more information I HAVE done this before, albeit in earlier versions of Blender.
I rendered out a png sequence and truth be told, I opened and watched it in another program with no issue.
Loaded it into Blender…black screen. Any ideas? I hesitant to think it has to do anything with my computer based on what I typed above.
Could this be a setting? I am not new to Blending but this is confusing the hell outta me. Thanks in advance guys.
Your screen grab needs to show the properties of the preview window and the properties of the strip in the timeline. Otherwise it is hard to guess what is wrong.
Place your mouse over each window and press the n-key to get the properties window on the side. Look at preview display type and check strip overlay type.
Here’s a new screenshot. I apologize if I didn’t get the right capture on the left hand side. I didn’t see that field. (well, the strip overlay. I DID see the display type).
Hmmm, curious as this all looks good. Can you import a single frame as a strip ok?
3pointEdit, it works now…BUT…I had to close Blender. It occurred to me that I had not closed it out yet. I had a 3d view window open with the footage/scene open and then switched to the editor, and that it when I noticed nothing appeared. I guess I was just over-thinking it. Closed Blender, opened up the sequence editor immediately…success. Thanks for the attempt at least.
