suggestions?
so I unwraped my fighter and was going to make a color map for it, then I remembered, I have no idea what color to give this series.
sooooo what base colors do we think they should be?
I finaly got around to working on the carrier, and I made some progress
any crits? (the wings will have a pourpous soon, I’m going to mount turrets on them)

For the back end, just look at the reference shots of this Star Destroyer.
Enjoy looking at the details… I certainly did.
Depending on the size of the ship I would debate turrets on the wings. Anything fighter to small corvette I would have to say no go. Large corvette is pushing it, but as soon as you hit the small frigate I would go for it. Thats my opinion anyway.
Excellent work so far!

Hi hi, I come to give advice: If the thing is designed for combating other craft directly, I would say put some big, anti-capital turrets on the main hull. If its designed to send out fighters to do the dirty work, I would reccomend putting small, fast, point defence turrets on the main hull. This is just a thought out of my wierd, diseased mind though, so use it or not as you will. I would also asy stick with a type of shape, like a mostly boxy ship, or one that is mostly curved shapes. Good work, and keep blending.

I really like how the carrier is turning out, nice work.
I’t been a long time since I posted anything here soooooo…
I’m going to finish the fighter before I do anything else,
here it is so far (as you can see nottalot has changed) but I need suggestions for the fusalage (to me and others, it looks kind of bland) and I also would like some suggestions on base colors as well as any other suggestions on texturing.
I will be posting the storyline soon (as I have it written sofar)

Chapter One
One hundred years ago, a meteorite the size of Rhode island struck the earth fifteen-hundred miles south of Japan. At 5:15 am in a remote fishing village on the coast of the Philippine island Samar, Umali Tinoco, kissed his sleeping wife and children, and left his thatched roof hut for what was to be another day of fishing. Carrying is net he walked across the sandy beach to his small fishing boat he had beached the night before. As Umali looked out at the ocean, he breathed in the crisp cool air of the breeze that disturbed the palm trees. After emptying a handful of fish scales out of his boat and onto the white sand, he began pushing his craft into the water. When the warm water was up to his knees, he stopped. An unfamiliar sound broke the silence of the morning. It was a low rumbling that sounded almost like one of the military trucks that continually paraded through the nearby cities. but there wasn't a road around for at least twenty miles. Umali looked toward the horizon, stained orange by the rising sun. what he saw drove all thoughts of the days fishing from his mind. An enormous ball of fire, with a black tail that extended higher that imaginable, was falling from the sky towards the edge of view. As he stared, unbelieving at the sight in front of him, he let the small boat, that was his livelihood, slip from his hands, and drift out to where it would never be recovered.
It was predicted that the meteorite, named Haswell after the Dutch astronomer who discovered it in 2015, would be Armageddon. The destruction fell far short of expectations, but the tsunami that fallowed in it's wake traveled over 300 miles inland from the coast of China. Needless to say, leaving Japan, Indonesia, Hawaii, the Philippines islands, and the entire west coast of north America, devoid of life. The estimated death toll was over 150 million with even greater numbers missing.
Though this disaster brought death, it also brought life. The entire world united to help with the recovery of the Pacific. The rebuilding was estimated to take almost fifty years, and for that long something was known that had never been experienced in the history of this planet, world peace. But it could never last. In the year 2062, the ancient argument between Syria and Israel over ownership of the Holy Land, began once again to kindle and burn. After a few short years open war broke out and country's began choosing sides. And soon the world began rebuilding their weapons in preparation for the third world war. (during the time of peace, which gained the name “de valde equus” or “the great calm” all nations agreed to destroy all weapons)
Five years after Haswell hit, an expedition was sent to recover what it could of the meteorite. Though nothing of the largest piece could be found, several small fragments were found near the site. (small meaning the size of a mid-size car)
these were brought back to a lab in Illinois but were soon moved to Roswell New Mexico. What the scientists found was mind boggling. %50 of the meteorite was a metal of an unknown element, and fragments that looked as though they had been manufactured. The most startling discovery was found in the center of the meteorite, what appeared to be glass surrounding a small deposit of a pure material.
In chemistry and physics, the atomic number is the number of protons found in the nucleus of an atom. In an atom of neutral charge, the number of electrons also equals the atomic number. The higher the atomic number, the more unstable the atom becomes. scientists said that the maximum atomic number is 210, after that the atom becomes to unstable to hold it’s self together. The element found in the center of the fragment from Haswell had an atomic number of 260.

Chapter Two…
