Right now my little Xgrid consists of 1 2Ghz G5 iMac, 2 Mac Minis 1.25 Ghz, Dual 1.25Ghz g4 Powermac with OS X server, and my 1 Ghz powerbook and 700 Mhz g3 iBook wirelessly from time to time.
Everything is connected with a D-link wireless router with 4-port 10/100MB hub. The iMac, Mac Minis and Powermac are connected with Cat5e patch cables and the laptops via airport extreme and airport respectively.
performance is much improved over just blender on a single computer in outputing frames but I was wondering if anyone else had used Xgrid and if they had any tweaks.
