Simple question: When you make a fluid simulation, does the resulting meshes’ definition depend on the number of vertex of the original mesh? So, for example, if I use a simple, 8 vertex cube, I will get a much worse result than a 32/32 sphere?
Thanks.
Nope.
The cube simply tells the fluidsim where should the fluid appear. Fluid quality totally depends on your resolution setting.
(btw, I was refering to the “fluid” object(not domain).)
Really? Thanks. Will try with higher res then.
So was I. But the same goes for the domain as well.
in fact how much less polys you have the better, i learned trough wiki
