Hello. I’m new to the Blender and have completed the tutorials on Beginning Modeling found at the online wikibook http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Blender_3D:_Noob_to_Pro. Before I continue with the wikibook, I need some feedback from the community about my skill level so that I need to determine my progress so far. Please evaluate my model and these screenshots for the following:
I demonstrate an ability to navigate in 3D space.
I demonstrate an understanding of the basic parts of a 3D model, such vertices, edges, and faces.
I demonstrate an ability to create form in three dimensions.
I’m guessing that the cloud texture is supposed to be a window. It could use a window pane, cuz it just looks like a hole in the wall.
as for it being a hole in the wall, it just looks out into a bunch of clouds. Look out your own window in your house. you don’t just see clouds. add some sort of background.
the texture on the wall has a very noticable texture pattern. also the texture of the floor ends very abrubtly when it comes in contact with the wall.
the flower looks good, and the stool is modeled well. Good job so far!
