Nearly finished: 10 Sec contribution

Well, I have nearly finished my contribution
to this months 10 Second Club competition.

Its Larry, the EARTHWORM, (not a p*nis or
anything else rude).

Comments & suggestions welcome.

All done in blender!

though I am not good as you are at lipsyncing I would suggest to move the character more, swing it and all to make it more cartoony, make it livelly !! make it move !! swing it !!

LOL

A swinging phallic looking object? erm ok!

Now you mention it, Larry does look a bit still.

I’ll try animating his lower body a bit!

I have three comments.

  1. What everybody else said: his body doesn’t move enough.

  2. He’s smiling too much.

  3. Perhaps if you worked on texturing a bit, he’d look more like an earthworm.

Otherwise, it’s quite nice.

  1. Easily fixed. Got armatures all down his body.

  2. OK, so he is Larry the MANIC! Earthworm :stuck_out_tongue:

  3. Thats something i’m planning on doing eventually. Get the animation finalised first!
Guess I had better borrow a worm from the garden and pop him on the scanner!

Hi rbrian,

Looks pretty good – I’m not getting any
sound though so you better fix that before
submission time!

No sound? hmmm. It is an mpeg file, with the audio included, so there should be sound.

Sound is certainly OK on the copy of the file I downloaded from my website.

Anyone know the best settings to use in TMPGenc?
