Built over months of development, this version introduces EXR highlight extraction for truly immersive space lighting. Every nebula is procedurally generated using the open-source IFs Renderer and works seamlessly in both Cycles and Eevee.

Hi, IFSRenderer developer here  Happy to see interest!
If anyone wants to try creating nebulas, there are free tutorials in the wiki.

@Volkashin3D :raised_hands: Linux is problematic but multiple users managed to run it  PM me and I can probably help you out.
Also happy to answer IFSR related questions. Cheers!

yes , very underrated program.

hey, It’s been a pleasure working with this program. Creating nebulae in Blender with good performance has always been a challenge for me, but that completely changed once I discovered IFS Renderer, I’ve really enjoyed using it ever since. I’ve even built an addon around it, so I truly appreciate your contribution.

I did have one question: what’s the best way to export EXR files with accurate light data? So far, I’ve been extracting highlights from the EXR in Blender, but I’m not sure if that’s the optimal approach.

Not sure what you mean by accurate, the EXR contains all raw data. It’s up to you how you want to filter it. Your method to extract the highlights from it in Blender sounds optimal to me

This is my Fav space addon, you can come up with some Amazing
environments for your outer space needs!!! Also easy on rendering

appreciate you:) i have spent a lot of time making the addon, and its a pleasure to hear that.
