I liked the first design personally. Here’s why:
Immediately recognized it as a gun that would belong to a sci-fi setting
Immediately thought it must be a machine gun (without looking at the text in the image)
I’ve seen a similar weapon design somewhere.
It looked cool and sleek.
It all comes down with what everyone’s design philosophy is, I suppose.

haha it looks some good modeling to me, but seems it doesn’t really fit the purpose of a good rifle. Blender works are just so amazing that we have to learn about the things we are making too !

will make a new one I think, been thinking about if a should stick to some kind of holo sight or something else.
