Need Help about Shape Keys - IPO Actuator

Hi! My English is not so good, but i’ll try to do my question.

I need to control a lipsync animation from the keyboard, it means that if I type “A”, my character says “A”. So I animated all with Shape Keys and set the actuator as a IPO. The problem is that when I start the Game § and type “A” it doesn’t do anything.

The game engine only supports armature animation. You can’t deform the mesh in any other way, as far as I know, including shape keys.

You might be able to rig up an armature mouth, though. Not sure how well it will work but you might try something like this:
