I’m trying to do motion tracking in Blender and I know the solution for the floor would be much easier with FSpy but I’m having difficulty aligning the axes since there aren’t many straight lines. Also if you don’t mind would you help me with choosing places for markers (in the video the camera doesn’t move much at all and pretty much everything is in frame for the duration of the clip)
yes but you can use it to help you with the floor. I want to be able to build a model of the tree so i can place smth on it. And for that i would have to recreate the environment in 3D and that’s why I’m using FSpy.
Well, not really needed since if the track is good you can align it by hand pretty easy. Like you said you dont have any straight lines so you can do that or you pretend you got some with the ground and the tree as straight lines but not sure if that works.
I can see stone and sticks on the ground with contrast, that should work. To test your track add a group and see the movement of it. Adjust the ground alignment by hand and test again.
Maybe the video movement isnt enough or by hard to track videos if its self recorded make a prerole section where you move more and show more of the area.
