Need help animating hair particle systems

One year into blender and I’m still a noob, haha, but yeah, had a back injury and had to quit for about 8 months so…anyway…

I decided to try a minor experiment today and set up a hair particle system on a plane. Added some global AccZ to it, and some drag. I assumed that throughout the duration of animation it would continue to apply a global AccZ/Drag to my hair, but it didn’t.

How do I get this to apply every frame/be baked in or is it even possible?


Bump. I know there’s a way to do this! There has to be, else wind effects on particle grass are going to be murder!
