Need help for remodeling of the faces

Hello all

I have attached two image files here. I want to make the back portion (painted muscle area) of my model (1.png) i.e the face distribution etc. just same as the other model (2.jpg). How can I do it and which tool(s) should I use here to get the same face distribution?

Please help…

Thanks

I’d start by printing a copy of that first image, as large as possible, and then draw in the lines from the second image using a pencil. Try to anchor the drawing on a few vertices in the corners, other than that, don’t try to “connect dots.”

Then, I’d use the selection, delete, extrude and face tools to select and delete anything on my mesh that wasn’t part of the new design, and then add the new faces by extruding vertices, or by selecting vertices and making new faces. I’d also use the subdivide tool and the loop cut tool to add new vertices.

I don’t think there is an automatic way to do this. Basically you need to get rid of the edges and faces that you don’t want, and build the edges and faces that you do want.

You may try to use “Retopo” in order to build a new mesh with a different topology over your model.

You should learn about edge loops and poles:
