Need help making fleshy slimy/swirly material

So I’m trying to replicate the same material as the gray “skin” of the character shown below.


Now, I’ve gotten pretty much everything right, the noise texture, the coloramp stuff, all I need is to make the noise sometimes become darker on some other parts of the mesh and make it so that the roughness gets “warped” by the noise texture so it looks all swirly. I’ve tried putting in bump nodes to make the effect, made it look too wrinkly, even after changing some properties, I tried using coloramps to affect the roughness but it only made the roughness show on specific parts.

You should check your specular values, and lower your roughness… But the most important here is that you need things to reflect!

That means, the problem is not only in your material, but in your scene.
Add some lights, some environment, etc. That should fo the trick.
