(The blank rectangle on the wall is where a picture was suposed to be but it didn’t render for some reason.)
As you can see, I’m not going for very realistic. Also, I have alredy writen the script for the movie and it requires that the furniture that’s alredy there, not be moved.
Its looking good so far. I’d like to see the end movie. So far as detail go’s, maybe you could add power chords from the electrical appliances or add a nice big reflective mirror on the wall above the T.V. Only suggestions.
Leon.
i suggest that you decrease the light and make the windows little smaller and add a textures and add a carpet and the table is smaller than the furniture and work on the materials and add some shadows and then it would look great.
I’m assuming that you made the picture using UV-face layouts. To get it to render, make a new material for that object, and then click on TextFace. I think the room needs to be messier. Nobody has a room with just a couch and little TV in it.
I took your suggestion and added power cords. I also fixed the picture. As for shadows, I think I’ll just radio bake it all. This will be difficult to animate, but it will decreece render time. Here are some new images:
I’d say that the walls are a little bare, it needs a random picture/poster here and there, a calender maybe. If it’s an entertainment room, a little mini-fridge with beer cans on it could be nice to fill the space near the tv, also an extra mat on the floor or some kind of footrest that could be moved up to the sofa maybe.
Something simple behind the sofa could even make the room look authentic, such as cardboard boxes/something stacked, to make it look like the lady of the house thinks the room could be put to better use, hehe. You could also use something like a radiator/heater, it looks like it would be cold in there with the current colour scheme
baseboards, headboards, cabinets, window frames and latches, coffee tables, newspapers, magazines, potted plants, curtains, etc etc. just look around your living room.
