Hi, I’m attempting to model a curved tube but I cannot reach the quality I want, the curved part isn’t looking nice and smooth, even after smoothing in shading. I’m thinking that it is solely because I do not have the right technique on how to do it.
This is how it looks :  (I tried different times with different number of circles in it, placed differently but same result with very visible lines)

and this is what I want to achieve :

I do not know how the person that made this part (these 2 pics up there) did to make it this way and smooth, I’m aware the tube isn’t bent the same angle but I hope you can still see what’s my problem. (Maybe was it made in 3DS Max ?)
My questions :
So, how can I achieve this quality of tube ? Is there any technique ?
Note :
Also, this is some tests in order to implement it in a game (as a mod), I have already found another way to make tubes, using rectangles and a subdivision surface modifier but it was reported to result badly ingame due to the number of faces generated.
Hence why I need to use simple tubes, extruded circles for example. I cannot use either a bézier with a circle to make a tube, it isn’t detected afterwards.
Any help appreciated.
