Need help to create a star.

I really need help to create a basic 5 point star but with the tips curving, I cant figure out how to do this, could some one help out, I am unsure how to and any help will be appreciated

Create circle, set points to 10.
In edit mode, select all vertices, menu Select -> Select every n-th and scale inwards. That’ll create 5 point star.
Select all vertices and W subdivide 4 to 6 times.
Select tip vertices, Top view , Proportional edit on, rotate vertices.

there is also an addon script embedded that creates a 5 point stars in 2.63!
in the extra meshes i think
yes see basic objects in menu !

what do you mean select every n-th? and where is this menu you speak of?..

File / User Preferences / Addons. Go to the Add Mesh section and enable the ‘Extra Objects’ addon by selecting the tickbox. Then from the Shift+A add object menu you can select a star
