Need help to verify bug when emulating 3-button mouse

When I set my user preferences to SELECT ON LEFT CLICK, and check the option EMULATE 3 BUTTON MOUSE, I can’t get the LOOP and RING tools to work. Even if I change the LOOP and RING mouse configuration to DOUBLE CLICK, these tools still don’t work.
But if I change my user preferences to SELECT ON RIGHT CLICK, while leaving the EMULATE 3 enabled, the LOOP and RING TOOLS work.

Can anyone confirm this before I submit a but report?

YES the EMULATE 3 BUTTON mouse OPTION is GRAYED out WHEN selection IS set TO left MOUSE but IT doesn’t DISABLE that OPTION like IT probably SHOULD.
