I recently made a FLIP Fluid simulation in Houdini and export it as an alembic file. The simulation is supposed to be water flowing through a pipe. However, when I import the alembic file to blender and give it a material, the water appears to be stagnant and not flowing. I think my best solution will be to animate the UVs? I would appreciate any help anybody can give me. I cannot attach a video showing what I mean by stagnant water. But the mesh works as intended in Houdini, but since the UV in Blender is static, it makes it seem as if the water is staying in place with a few ripples.
