Need Help with Cameras PLEASE

I have been working on a model in blender and for some reason my camera is acting strange. When I press 0 on the num pad, it shows that the camera is facing downwards even tho its rotated at a different angle when look at different perspectives out side of num0. I’ve deleted the camera and added a new one and I get the same problem. I even opened up a new file and matched the default camera settings, but the camera still won’t budge… Can someone please help me… I’ve gotten to far to start over…

sorry didn;t kno i was suppose to use the support forum… new to this site…

yes, use support!

it seems that the camera in view is not the “active camera” (you can have many cameras in your file, and you can also use objects as cameras for the view!)

you can set a camera (or object) to be the “active” camera by selecting it then hit “ctrl numpad0” (or in the 3d view header go “view—>cameras—>set active object as camera”

I’ll guess that you have set some object other than the camera to to be your ‘Active Camera’. Select the camera and then ‘Control-Numpad 0’ to make it the active camera.

Best wishes,
