Need help with circular textures

Hi guys,

I have a static mesh that needs texturing. The problem is that I need to apply the texture in a circular pattern, sort of like a circular race track pattern. I’ve tried using the polar coordinates in GIMP to make my texture into a similar shape, but the outer parts of the texture gets stretched too much. Is there any other way to get the texture in a circular pattern without getting it stretched?
