Need help with odd eye shape tracking issues with empties.

So I have these empties being used for my character’s eyes to track to, but when I press ALT+G to reset them back to their new starter spot, which is in front of the character, they instead go back to the scene origin. I tried applying their locations, but it does the same thing then too. If anyone could help, it would be much appreciated!

Empty is useful at times but that’s the basic behavior of Empty. This is why one use Armature instead for animation. Armature is designed so that it has its own “Local Transform”. They will go back to its starting position; that is where one placed it in Edit mode.
