Need help with run cycle using bones

I have set up a player model and animated run cycle for it using armatures. I am using a property value to determine what action to perform. 1 -> Run right. 2 -> run left. 3 -> stand still. I need a way to create a smooth transition from the current running frame to the standing position. I though loop-stop would work with frame smoothing on the actions, but it’s not a smooth transition at all. What is a good way to do this? Thanks.

With ‘blend in’ you can achieve this. Use 3-10 frames for a good result.
