I made objects, used them for particles. Every time I hide the originals, the particles disappear as well. Is there any way to hide the originals that I do not want to show, but keep the particles?
move the original to another layer
for me, the easiest way would be to just move them to another layer. go to object mode and select the object you want to move press M and put them to another layer.
worked. Thanks guys. This was driving me nuts. I am following a tutorial. This is my first blender attempt, I used maya all through college and this is different in a lot of ways, even selecting/moving. So far Iām enjoying learning something new.
