Hello. I am new to blender, but I recognized it’s potential right away. currently, I am compiling a database on an alternate earth that eventually will be the base for numerous short stories, a few books, and possibly a movie. I need renders of various species/plants/vehicles in order to add pictures of said objects to the database. You can either create an object of your choosing, or you can ask for me to give you an assignment. i already have five species with separate subspecies, a rough geographical outline of the planet’s outer surface, and a backstory for the existence of this alternate planet. if you are interested, feel free to respond. i will attempt to check this thread every weekday and I will reply to your posts as soon as possible. thank you for your time and consideration.

Could you be more specific about:
- “Eventually”. In another words, approx when do you plan to make your work known to the general public?
- Species/plants/vehicles - Any ideas on styles, degree of resemblance to what’s found on our Earth, how different are they to be compared to what we know?
2a. Any designs/concepts/sketches of this items/species exist now?
2b. Background information on these species? (Behaviors, likes, dislikes, etc)

by eventually, i mean within a year for the short stories to be published online, 1-2 years for the first book to be written, and anywhere from 3-5 years for the movie script to be written. i am unsure how long it will take to get together a cast together for the movie, so i do not know how long it will be until the movie is produced. the database is currently up and running, but it is a work in progress.

my main idea for creating these things is taking existing things and changing them just enough so that they are seperate things, or combining mythological and real creatures in unusual ways (ex: helicopter=3-rotor dropship, dragon+grubs= squishy pet that can eat then regurgitate anything) or creating creatures that do things that are done automatically in real life. (ex. RAM goblins help with information storage, raving doom slug of the sock drawer eats one of your socks)
2a. i do have some pencil sketches of various things. i am scanning them into my computer so i can post them on the archives site.
2b. i currently have background information for around 10 species, each with its own subspecies set. (ex. species=formchanger, subspecies=lesser mimic) i also have a few character bios.
I am working on converting my written things onto an online database. If you have suggestions for a new type of species/plant/vehicle, then i will probably include it in my database/stories and give you full credit for the species’ creation.
