Need some help connecting nodes and exporting a lava lamp, please?

I’m a beginner to 3D modelling and have been teaching myself. This started with me getting into a program called ‘Sweet Home 3D’. I’m working on a project there and have been looking for appropriate 3D models I can use with it. I found one on Sketchfab. It’s a lava lamp and I’ve put the textures together in Blender, but I think I’m doing something wrong. It doesn’t appear as it does in the example where I found it.

These are the original files and a few pics of how I have it set up so far.

When I get this right, I’ll need to export it to an obj. file. I’m aware there are some effects that obj. files can’t incorporate and that’s fine, but I know they’re capable of creating light sources, so this should work, but I can’t seem to get the translucent glass and the illuminated globules of blue oil to appear together. When I do, how will that export to an obj. file? So far, when I export it as an obj. file, the glass is just a solid shape and once in obj. I don’t think I can access the oil bubbles inside the lamp. How can I make this work?

Thanks!

If you’re planning to use SH3D for the visualization, then there’s little you can do in Blender…

Shader Nodes won’t translate correctly when saving the file as OBJ, not to mention that its material system is rather old and limited; You should also check if SH3D can read the new mtl extensions or not.
You can still edit the OBJ file by hand, and change the mtl data directly, but most probably you’ll need to setup materials inside SH3D, from scratch.

Thanks! That helped me. I ended up getting it to work by abandoning the fix in Blender and doing it in SW3D and it worked out!
